Tiki Taane fights charge over singing FTP

Singer Tiki Taane has reaffirmed he will fight a charge of disorderly behaviour relating to an incident during a gig in April. Taane, 34, was arrested at a Tauranga club – Illuminati on Harrington St – in the early hours of April 10 for disorderly behaviour likely to cause violence to start or continue. Tauranga Cop gets angry with Tiki over name

Chart-topping dub star Tiki Taane thinks a mix-up over his real name could have been behind his arrest last weekend. Taane was arrested at a Tauranga nightclub after singing the song F**k the Police [by American hip hop legends NWA] after officers turned up to check the place.
